The
Indians struggled on the road this week, losing
two of three games to the Monterey Bay Sox, both
losses coming in league with the lone win designated
as a non-league game. Because the Bay Sox are
in the northern part of the CCL only 3 of the
4 games played against them are designated as
league games.

Indians
starter Diego Soto could not avoid the big inning,
as the Bay Sox put up 6 runs in the 4th. Soto
went 4 innings giving up 5 hits and 6 runs (4
earned) to take the loss.
Jeff
Farnham went 1-3 with an RBI double and Kris Haycock
added a home run, his first on the season.

Reliever
Kris Tomlinson took the loss for the Indians going
4 innings of relief giving up 5 hits, 4 runs (only
2 of which were earned). Cory Morales went 2-4
with 2 RBI and Will Campbell added a homerun,
his fourth on the year.

The
Indians used five pitchers to hold the Bay Sox
to only 2 runs, with reliever Nate Smith offering
up the best outing of the five and picking up
the win. Josh Meagher and Cory Morales added 2
RBI apiece and Blake Crosby went 2-2 with an RBI.
Will Campbell went 2-4 with 2 runs scored.
