Kyle Gerhart hit a towering two-run homer in the bottom of the first and the Tribe never looked back. Cory Morales collected four hits and drove in two.

Mickey Jannis picked up the win for the Tribe, his second of the young campaign. He combined with Steve Martlaro and Diego Soto for a three-hitter. The win pushed the Indians' record to 7-4 overall and 5-1 in CCL play.
